The chair getting busy with a screwdriver

A busy night in the clubhouse on Friday. We got a new screen mounted on the wall to show the hamclock for the HF users. Thanks to Simon G2CNN for the screen and Trevor G4RFM for the mount. With a group of Roger, Steve and John we got the bits put together and got it onto the wall. Chris G7IVF has donated a Raspberry Pi to run the screen so that we now have a working system.

Roger G8NHG and Mark G4DOT worked on the QO100 setup. The dish was replaced with a larger one and needed re aligning and moving and so Mark ventured up onto the roof (I didnt upload the picture of the ladder, elf and safety and all that)
so that the receive now works great and the transmission should be ready for next week.

Tom got on the radio following a new earth stake installation by Rod G4ZUP which stopped stray RF coming into the shack and only the tuner now needs to be relocated.

Oh go on then

QO100 in action

Is it straight?

Chris stares in wonderment
