Roger G8NHG gave a great talk on radio waves, how they work and how we can monitor and look at them.
Using his computer he was able to demonstrate using an oscilloscope why we get a sideband and how it works from a generated signal. Also using his computer he was able to demonstrate the differences in signals on the different types of signal, from AM to SSB with both a tone and voice.
The whole club enjoyed the talk, which was primarily designed for the members training for their exams, but it was decided to open it up to all the members and it was well attended. Thanks Roger!
